Silver medal for the blond Enghien

The Enghien blonde has just won a silver medal at the Brussels Beer Challenge in the Pale & Amber Ale, Golden Ale category. The Brussels Beer Challenge is an annual international beer competition. It also aims to support beer culture. 2000 beers from around the world are tasted over three days by a panel of 100 internationally renowned beer judges. Participating beers are pre-divided into categories based on typicity and style. After three days of tasting, the best beers in each category receive a gold, silver or bronze medal. The Enghien blonde is a high fermentation beer of regional type. The quality of its Kent and Hallertau hops and the purity of its malt make it a rather bitter beer with roundness in the middle and back of the mouth. It is a blond beer that has a density of 7.5% alcohol volume. It is best enjoyed at a serving temperature of 5°C to 8°C.
