Good news. On November 21, we have just obtained a silver medal at the Brussels Beer Challenge for the Enghien blonde in the Pale & Amber Ale, Golden Ale category. It is the recognition of our daily efforts for quality. We are proud to be Belgian brewers. In 2021, the 408 breweries, with more than 1,500 beer brands, invested EUR 311 million in their own facilities and in the hotel, bar and restaurant sector. The sector directly and indirectly employs more than 50,000 people. As for our family brewery, it employs 22 full-time equivalents people. It is a demanding profession, with many aspects requiring a professional approach: analysis of water and raw materials, brewing, fermentation, aging, microbiological analyses, packaging in barrels and bottles, transport, sales in Belgium and abroad, purchasing, marketing, finance, human resources… It’s complex, but we are passionate about our job.
