Since 2012, Brasserie de Silly has been marketing limited editions of Silly Scotch matured in oak barrels. Each year, the flavors are different, thanks to the acquisition of old barrels used to age Silly Scotch Barrel Aged: this is how editions of Bordeaux, Port, Cognac, Jack Daniels, Nuits-Saint-Georges came about. The 2024 edition is being aged in Sauvignon Blanc barrels. Aging lasts 4 months, giving Silly Scotch more aroma and alcohol. The 2024 edition is limited to 20,000 75 cl bottles. Brewed on the basis of the classic Silly Scotch, this beer undergoes an additional stage of production, namely aging in oak barrels containing Sauvignon Blanc wine.
